Namaskar friends and welcome to July edition of Indian DX Report. I am your host Prithwiraj and my hearty greetings to all KBS listeners who are observing the Holy Ramazan in this month all over the world. So lets begin with some DX News.

All India Radio completed 86 years of service to the people of India. A symposium - Radio in Digital Age - was held in New Delhi on 22nd July on completion of 86 years of Radio Broadcasting in India. Noted Agricultural Scientist Dr M S Swaminathan have extolled All India Radio for its services to India for more than 8 decades. Established in 1930, All India Radio is one of the largest radio networks in the world. Its headquarters is at the Akashvani Bhavan in New Delhi.

AIR Radio Kashmir from Srinagar, India is broadcasting an one hour special program on occation of Holy Ramzan between 2130 to 2230 UTC on 4950 & 1116 kHz. These special broadcast of about 1 hour duration will continue till the Ramzan festival.

After 65 years of broadcasting, one of the most heard and popular SW station from Israel "Kol Israel" has suspended its only remaining shortwave broadcasts in Farsi to Iran at the beginning of July which means that this station will not be heard on shortwave any more. The long time shortwave listeners may remember that Kol Israel used to broadcast overseas programs in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Georgian, Persian, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, as well as a home service program in Hebrew and external service in other Jewish languages. They also had a DX-Program in English, hosted by Ben Dalfen, aired on Sundays.

All though Voice of Greece, better known as ERT,  went off the air in June, but still some DXers reporting that GREECE ERT transmitting in English, instead in Greek between 1300-1315 on 9420 kHz. If you have still not QSLed this station you try your luck on that time and frequency which is targeted towards West Europe.

And here are some important monitoring observations done by me in this month.
